RFR Story

Our family ranch was established in  2010 in Magnolia, Texas.  The founders, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Free, discovered the name after an evening on their porch observing the various game and horses "running  free" throughout their ranch. Combine that saying with their lastname, and the Running Free Ranch was born. Soon after, we began offering both exotic and whitetail deer hunts, as well as tours of over thirty different animal breeds and species.

In 2020, we expanded RFR to the  beautiful hill country in Junction, Texas. Using the same formula from our Magnolia, TX ranch,  we continue to offer prestigious exotic and whitetail deer hunts on over 1100 acres, including lodging and accommodations, and family fun adventures!
